At what time can i check in ?

Check in is possible from 12 o’clock

At what time do i have to depart by ?

You have to leave your pitch by 11am on your departure day.

Opening hours

Reception: 8 am – 11 am and 2:30 pm -9 pm
Gate opening times: 7:30 am – 9 pm

Till what time can I arrive at the camping ?

With a booking you can arrive till 9 pm.

How can I make a reservation ?

To make a reservation please full out the form on our website.

Is the camping open the whole year ?

Our season starts at the beginning of March, and finishes at the end of October . But we are open in the weekends when the Christmas market is on in Freiburg .

Is there WIFI of the camping ?

Yes we have a WIFI free of charge .

How far away from Freiburg intercity is the camping located ?

You find us around 2.5 km from the intercity.
There is tram stop called Musikhochschule that is a 10-12 minute walk from us and takes 6-8 minutes to reach the city centre.
With a bike cycle it takes around 15 minutes to reach the intercity . The route is along the river and it is also possible to walk the same way ( It takes around 40 minutes to walk ).

Is the Camping in Freiburg’s low emission zone (Umweltzone)?

Yes you find our campsite in the low emission zone, and you require a green sticker (grünen Plakette) to drive here. These can be brought from the citizens’ advice (Bürgerberatung ) at the town hall (Rathaus).

Is it possible to order bread rolls / croissants ?

Yes we bake bread rolls / croissants daily and you can oder them the day before online.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes dogs are allowed in the camping as long as they are on a lead.

Is there a quiet time ?

From 10 pm till 7:30 am is a quiet time. At this time our gate is closed and no Campers can enter or leave.

Can I reserve my favorite pitch ?

Yes, you can reserve your pitch on our interactive maps while you make a reservation.

Do you hire bike cycles ?

You can hire a bike from Donkey Republic at the camping ( you have to first download the app )

Is there a shop or restaurant at the camping ?

– There is a small Kiosk with a bread roll service, where you can buy hot and cold drinks , and Jam, Chips , sweets, ice-cream, biscuits etc.
– In our Cafe we have homemade cakes and locally roasted coffee .
– Three restaurants are very close to the Camping, Gaststätte Waldsee ( Regional ) 5 minutes walking , Pizzeria La Corona (Italian) and Ouzeria (Greek) are both around 10 minutes walk away.

Can i use a BBQ in the camping ?

You can use a gas or electric BBQ. With our location close to a natural forest BBQ with coal and open fire is forbidden .

Does Freiburg have a guest card ?

Sorry the city Freiburg does not have a guest card ( like other parts of the black forest )

Are there any hiking or bike routes close by ?

There are lots of hiking and biking routes very close to the camping . The main mountain bike trails are also close to us. Please ask at the reception and we will help to chose a suitable hike , bike trip . Hiking and Cycling maps are also available to buy .
